LISTEN: Program Council is the perfect way to highlight your college experience. Join us for events and programs such as workshops, sneak previews, lectures and concerts. All of our events are held in the University Student Union, CSULB's mecca for broad-based entertainment. Our weekly noontime concerts attract all students. Program Council books alternative, reggae, hip hop, jazz, rock, blues, R&B, country and salsa acts. Noontime concerts are every Wednesday in the University Student Union Southwest Terrace from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.

INTERACT: Program Council sponsors many interactive events for students throughout the year. Enjoy numerous festivals and promotional events at the University Student Union including games, tours, and free t-shirts and much more.

WATCH: Films are shown in 35mm format at our Beach Auditorium in the University Student Union with surround sound and capacity for more than 200 people. The latest blcockbuster movies as well as various advanced screenings, are shown monthly.

MISSION: Program Council presents educational and world-renowned speakers, motivational speakers and workshops for students to take advantage of during their class breaks. There is something interesting to see or do nearly every day. Students are also encouraged to participate in planning and Program Council is always open to recommendations for speakers each academic year.

SUMMARY: Basically the USU Program Council is an elite team of event planners who plan most of the event's here on campus and in the University Student Union. We are a non-profit organization who do events through co-sponsorship, sponsors, and etc. So if you're looking to build your resume, get that work experience in the entertainment or recreational field this would be a great place to start.
